Side Cocker
Finally got around to making a breech so I could finish putting together my .22 Condor. While I was at it I made it a side cocker. Works really good. Nice and smooth. Shot around 10 shots through the chrono and with the 2000 psi reg it shoots kodiak’s in the 970’s. Still have to put it back in the mill and tilt the head so I can cut the safety notch and finish the other notch. Also need to make a moderator and get a scope.

The needed volume would be approximately equal to the barrel volume,
plus alittle.
For 25 cal with 24 inch barrel:
3.1416 x .125 x .125 x 24 = 1.178 cu in.
I suppose a water fill could determine your adpater volume.
That is more volume for the reg. That is why I get 2500 psi numbers with a 2000 psi reg. I’m going to build something even different and I think I will be able to use a 1800 psi reg and get the same numbers or even better. Reg needs more volume.
Dyotat100 – why is the design of your adpater have that large diameter ? Is that used to hand tighten and give a little more torque ?
I recut the threads on the PB tanks to match the condor tanks. 18mm x 1.5. That way everything is the same.
How did you make that adapter for the PB air tanks? :8: I use a couple of 68CI tanks that are regulated at 1300 PSI, but I’ve been running them via a remote- just getting around to fabricating an adapter now.

Thanks. No I put the slot in there with a ball mill. I did it to the .25 so I did it to the .22 to keep it consistent. If you want anything done let me know.

Sure wish Ihad the talent and the tools to do that.
All I have is a dremel to contour my frame so I could remove my tank, the gauge did not work well anyway.
Great work, did you do the cut on the WOK guard or is Adam selling them like that now?

I don’t know about the numbers. All I know is if you put the valve on a tank with 2000 psi fill and the valve on a 2000 psi reg there is a big difference in fps. I’m trying to close the gap and have. I just want to get it the same or a lot closer. Trying to get more shots and higher fps.
