Q:

sighting ……

At what distance should a scope be sighted in for a condor ? This is a condor with 18″ barrel in 25 calibre .
I have about a space of about 40 yards in length available – or should I go to the range and sight it in over a longer distance .
Appreciate your inputs please . Thanks .

I have got a hawke 4 – 16 X 44 varmint SF and a 4-16 X 44 UTG acushot SWAT . The Hawke is 1″ tube and UTG is 30mm .
Unable to choose between the two .

If you can conveniently sight within in forty yards that’d be great. I’d say sight in for20- 25 yards. This will give you a first zero of 20 and a far zero around 60-70 because of the pellets arched trajectory. What kind of reticle are you using in your glass?
