Ive had one 6.5x20x42 and it seemed ok glass wise…. then i bought a 6x24x55 hawke srpro reticle… it was cloudy and the 6.5×20 out performed it. I wasn’t a fan of the srpro either so i sent it back cause the turrets didn’t click worth shit and it was cloudy. got a call from the guy the day they received it and He replaced it with a new 6.5x20x42 same as my other one he said he would make sure its good before it goes out. the new one is better as far as clarity then my other 6.5×20. (noticeably better) . so now i may send that one back and then sell them both when i get it back. Im leaning to the SII big sky series. sightron still…

Sightron SIII 3.5x10x44 mil/mil worked great. Shot it to 1000yards. Recommended.

Hawkes were fairly good scopes for the money when they were in the 300. price range, but very overpriced in the 500. usd price range.

This statement says it all–

I like the hawke scopes the mil dot reticle is nice . i like how it has plenty of dots and it doesn’t obstruct your vision. but honestly the glass is subpar. and they are heavy. My leaupold VX1 2-7 on my muzzle-loader blows them away in the clarity.

Especilly considering that the VX-1 is Leupolds lowest quality glass. For that matter, their highly thought of VX-III isn’t all that good. Kinda shows that the Hawkes are Very subpar!

I’m going to try one later today… I’ll send a range report once I’m done. It’s an SIII 3.5-10 mil/mil.

This is my favorite scope optics wise.

Well i did like a few one in particular is this one and the leaupold is nice too but i don’t like any of there reticles…. the vortex makes nice reticles but i heard that the sightron outdoes it in the optics clarity department.

stuck i wish i could walk into someplace and try each and everyone of them out on a rifle at the range. sucks when you blow a bunch of dough on a scope and u just don’t like it.

maybe ill just resort to picking 2 and flip a coin lol

I guess you didn’t like any of these.
