ya you two are defanity correct and spot on with you assumptions because a major company would never produce and sell something that was illegal and needed their customers to pay a tax stamp, not to mention that you first need the serial number from it to even apply for the tax stamp before buying it….

You already mentioned ATF…, thare was also a lot of nice silencers made without a class III
unless they will go right onto a fire arm that is a false statement and should not be typed, I do not see what the BATF can or will do, these are not fire arms and they have stated many times that they have nothing what so ever to do with air guns.
As I stated before on a different thread , it is up to the agents discretion on if he wants to prosecute and believe me there are so many bad ATF agents out there, that believe Americans shouldn’t even own guns or slingshots, so for the people on this forum and other forums if ATF want’s to dick you they will and they will win buy running you into the poor house with legal fees, to be on the safe side I wouldn’t make any moderators out of any form of metal use all delrin and on the side put for air rifle use only.
Just my two sense coming from the gunsmithing & manufacturing of NFA and class 3 weapons.

For “someone”, it would be quite time consuming to say the least with a houseful of BATF as well as IRS.
I think the point sniper was making was, he wants to make it as time consuming and agrivating as he can for those that have done the same
