Silicone Lube question

I didn’t realize it was silicone based and I cannot use it, could I use this on my Talon SS for lubing the breach?

What about T.F.E. paste? Can’t you use that for sealing O-Rings?

Put some on a spoon and hold a match to it. Might not burn, but still might explode if aerosolized and under pressure. All three of these are cosmetic grade ingredients, and used routinely in skin/hair care products, and to get rid of crabs and lice by suffocation.

Does airsoft operate at these (3000psi air) kind of pressures then??
How do you think the oils in that lube are gonna behave at those kind of pressures?
Doesn’t airsoft mostly use co2 ?

Anyway, thank you for your help Sam, I wont try it. It’s strange because they recommend using this type of stuff to lubricate and seal the internals of airsoft guns. The only difference between this stuff and the stuff meant for guns is this is FDA approved and the other is not, they’re both almost exactly the same.

I reccomend not too use with HPA. The divers silicon used for HPA is pure food grade with no additives.
The other chemicals ? May burn under pressure? It’s up to you? If it blows, there’s no oops………………………..!

If you’re so damn brilliant about lubricants, why come on an airgun sight and ask if it’s OK to use sex lube on your breech? With that kind of question, you’re on the wrong site if you don’t expect flippant answers.
Guess I wont be taking advice from you. This is the same type of lube one would add to propane to make a psuedo green gas for an airsoft gun. If you dont know what you’re talking about dont answer, instead load your gun up and shoot your computer monitor thanks.
Absolutely. Smear it all over your gun liberally and be secure in the knowledge that your o-rings are lubed. Being nearly waterproof, you might want to stroke some on your barrel so it won’t corrode when you put it somewhere wet.
the ingredients in this stuff are Dimethicone and Dimethiconol, Cyclomethicone.
I don’t have pictures (sorry folks) but silicone lube is good for banging in a pool because sex in pools can be pretty awful (sometimes) without constant lubrication. For all you guys who want to know what went down (other then her for the finishing move :lol:) we were in about 4 feet of water she was bent over one of those lifeguard orange tubes getting another tube.
