SILVER AND SHINY (b-51 project)
Working on a non talon breech knob by special request Progressing nicely so far.
This one’s for you Rob, figured here would be best place to keep you up-to date on progress (easiest for me to show pics). Let me know if we need to make any adjustments/changes.
The blacked out areas are the projected parting lines. Takes a little visualization, but you can get a good idea of what it will look like finished.

Is that muzzle brake for the B51?

Looks great… Here is the gun it will be going on. Am also talking to Don on making a shiny brake for it.
This is a BigEd B51 with port restrictors on it. I get 50 shots at 19fpe with it or up to 120 shots at 10fpe.. and 6 different combinations in between. This off a 2000psi fill.
I came up with a Walnut Daystate stock to put on her to make it a bit more refined and with the shiny bits from Don, it should look really sweet…

Finished pics, all grub/set screws are metric (oe thread) stainless to maintain shine and be low maint. Going to its new home with both proper allen wrench sizes included.
Don was kind enough to send pics as attachments so I can see the finished product! Wow… very nicely done. Elegant and classy…. I’ll post pics of the gun with everything on soon…. Just looks awesome.
Now thats cruel…haha… I’m at work now and cannot view pics through photobucket or other hosting sites. I’ll have to check it out when I get home tonight from class…!

since you are having trouble visualizing and I found a little extra motivation tonight……here’s one more to help things out.
I have to admit that I had to take a couple extra looks to see what was what on it, but man thats pretty!

U got it biki…. Custom piece by request. but it looks so sexy on the talon that I may have to make another and keep it for myself. The b51 has an LW barrel which happens to be the same diameter as my TalonTunes .25 so I used it for test fitting.
