Q:

Single loader for AA410

I don’t know what the real made is but can a “loader” be bought for the AA410 that allows only one shot at a time ?
Is it ok to load a pellet in the 410 and fire it with out the magazine installed?

I dunno if its a press fit, not sure how you would ever get it out of there if needed.

Maybe you could shoot it without a magazine or clip? 🙄

I’ve maybe shot mine a handful of times without the clip and no problems. I won’t do it on purpose now, thanks Riff. The one that scares the shit out of me every time is when the bolt is back and you forget. Aim carefully at the target, pull the trigger, just about shit your pants! Do the side levers suffer from this same possible situation?

Ive heard the warning and handful of times.

That bushing is held in place by loctite and a grub screw. The grub is under the little spring plate that holds your magazine in place.

Ive torn mine down almost completely once to reseal a minor leak. I got to the seal quite easily, and kept going just to check it out. I didn’t take the tank apart, nor did I remove the barrel but everything else was in a box for a few hours LOL.

These guns look complicated, but are really simple to work on.

Do not fire the rifle without either a magazine or single shot tray installed. The brass breech block can be dislodged and pushed out.

Rodger that Riffraff. Thanks for the warning.

It sounds like that’s a possibility but I was told it’s pressed in and the air press. should not go beyond the bolt prob o-ring?. And I have shot mine a few time with out the mag or single tray 😕 Maybe I was lucky and it looks like I’ll not do that again…..thanks for the tip Riff 😀

It’s fine to shoot a pellet with out the mag but it’s not that easy if you have big hands.

Its a small bushing between the barrel and transfer port. It is tightly fitted, but the magazine ensures it stays tight in place.

Those trays work great once you get used to it, otherwize the pellets roll into the breech slot sideways most of the time.

Once you get your technique worked out, its bout the same speed as loading a Talon or Condor.

S410 single shot tray can be found here:

I got mine from Steve at Pomona-Airguns.com

I don’t know about shooting it empty.
