Slimming down the Maddog Ultima Stock

I have a Condor SS with a Maddog Ultima Stock. I am very pleased with it. It is a consistent tack driver. The grip however was a bit large for me. I have small girly hands, as my buds tell me. So today, I trimmed the excess wood and man does this thing feel good. I went ahead and modified the springs and put some Brownells Trigger Job in a Can on it and it is amazing. I took it back apart and not tomorrow will start the painting process. I’ll attach some photos.

This gun is really something. Lots of personality. No two are the same. Thanks for looking. And, thanks for the guy with the G2 ink pen idea, great job of thinking outside the box!!

Slicked up the action with Brownell’s trigger job in a can and began the painting steps using Rustoleum Truck Bedliner Black Paint. Maddog Stocks’ Owner told me his steps to refinish one of his stocks and I am following them as close as I can. These are well made stocks. 😯



Finally, the gun all back together and ready to shoot. I’m going to give the stock one more day to dry.
