keep us posted. We cant wait till you get them either…lol

Ya that’s what I’m getting it for squirrels coyotes possums raccoons. I can’t wait

Jay,

Check out the hunting section hear and look for CHANCERS videos. He shoots Jerrys SCREWS/REBAR Slugs at about 850 fps and kills yotes and possoms like its nothing.

I have hunted just small game like Jack Rabbits and Ground Squirrels and needless to say, the slugs would lift them off their feet upon impact….lol! With squirrels, it got messy.

Trust me, at 70+ grs and having a blunt round nose, your gonna do serious damage regardless of the animal.

They are good slugs when used in a barrel without a choke (and sometimes in barrels with chokes). They were my first 1″+- 100 yard group while shooting through my Talondor 25.

And those things hit HARD AS HELL to say the least.

My buddy used to jokiingly call them SCREWS that i got from Home Depot. I said, “yeah, they are screws……..THEY SCREW SHIT UP”… 😆

JEEERRY, JEEERRY, JEEEERRY, JERRY!!!

Ya I’m stoked to get it. I heard the slugs shoot best out of unchoked barrels. Do you guys hunt with yours? Is so what do you hunt? And how does it fare with slugs.

LOL T! My buddy says “here you go shooting rebar again”!

Ya mine will be unchoked. I can’t wait to get it man. It’s going to be a beast

Sweet!!!! Jerry’s slugs might be the best bet for .251. In a barrel without a choke I can only imagine they are the bee’s knees. I was getting .5 to 1″ groups constantly at 50 yards with 7rings. But I have a choke and you can feel the kick when it tries to squeeze those slugs!

That’s what I figured doesn’t hurt to try them. But I heard Jerry slugs are by the best you can get.

OK, I see Hunters Supply has some 52 gr RN bullets FOR 2013. That is a .251 mold so if those are the bullets you are referring too, they are OK. Not necessarily the HS bullets but the actual “MOLD” that it comes from is OK. RCBS makes just about the only “OFF THE SHELF” .251 RN molds for quite some time now.

About 3 years ago, my buddy casted that bullet and shot it in his Beaumont .25. The bullets were just ok. But there is not enough info on them let alone the bullets from HS. At least if there is, no one often talks of them and their results.

But i can say that they do hit pretty good when they make contact.

TRUST ME, JERRY’S BULLETS WILL BE A BETTER BUY. TRUST ME!…lol
