Small scope with chevron reticle?
What do you think, would this scope be a good match for a compact bullpup?

How about that chevron reticle, it kind of looks like it could be useful with the loopy trajectories we have at longer ranges?

IMO the Leupold Tactical Mark 4 is a better scope than the Nightforce NSX. 😎 The Nightforce ATACR are supposed to be improved but I have not seen one personally yet. :smilen:
Ville,,,, it is true 100% and clear, that you know more and much much than me in this section of scopes and rifles ,,, i am just a simple beginner with PCPs and air rifles,,, almost 3 or 4 years… still i am a babe … but what i read and see NightForce is one of the good scopes that manufactured in US itself, unlike other chine scopes …. but even never have seen one or touch one.. or use one.. you and others can judge… but they were look great for me,,,i know they will work great on the black powder rifles or big calibers.. … have no idea if they are suitable on air rifles .. .. ..
but personally would highly like to buy the scopes with a great reticle contradictory …..

On which market?? I’d say it’s far from finest – hardly upper middle class.

That is really great,,, WoW,,, isn’t this a 50BMG Rifle? i have seen a Canadian Sniper in Avganistan has killed a man 1.5 miles away with this rifle ,,, Oh,, found it here is the vid;

Old phone picture but can you guess the gun its on? It has the BORS system on it as well sitting on the piece of paper. I got it for $1500 US second hand from a guy who bought it and never pulled it out of the box.

gaucho, I’ve been searching Chinese scopes sellers for a couple of years myself. But I’ve always wondered
about Aliexpress. I worry about their payment system and customs problems, and whether to trust them.

I have a NightForce 8-32×56 NSX on a PB and it was the biggest waste of money I ever made on a scope. 🙁

Just curious if you have had a chance to check out the Nightforce ATACR or Beast. They have stepped up the glass quality so that it is noticeably better than the NXS level scopes. I’m wondering if their upper end would now make your hurdle for great glass . . . .

I´m not an expert on the field of airgunning – far from it. I got more seriously into that hobby about 18 months ago so you´re more experienced than i am. I have been shooting rifles whole my life but then we speak about powderburners.
The thing with the optics is that the best you know is the best you´ve seen and NF is kinda upper middle class scope IMO – far from high-end German/Austrian optics top-of-the-line offerings or the best from Japan too.
There´s a big optics shoot-out going on where current/ex military snipers, top-end BR shooters,LE snipers and very experienced hunters are doing the testing. Nightforce and Sightron is there among most of them better brands offerings and they even have my favorite scope,the Delta Ti , in the mix. I´m willing to bet it´ll beat NF and Sightron – i actually know it does.
I´ll get a link to the ongoing testing for everyone here to read .
That said i would rate Leupold above NF anyday too.
