So, Colibri owners, what scope?
Just a thought; what scope will you pimp out your Hummingbird with? Snoopy people want to know. Well, OK, I want to know.

PS don’t forget to post reviews about the real-deal on this new configuration, and neat stuff like maybe sub-MOA groups at 70 yards with an Es of 9 fps for 70 shots! :fishing: 😳

My .177 Compact is THE funniest airgun i´ve had. Laser accurate little thingie and much more power than one could imagine from such small pellet. 10.3 gr JSB´s at around 285 mps ( 930-935 fps) does wonders even on large Crows at 60 meters.
First choice, MTC Viper connect. Wishing they would come up with a Picatinny style CONNECT MOUNT !
Second choices, Mamba Lite 3-12×44 SCB or 4-16×44 SCB I have both.
I’m waiting for the semi-auto to come out, but I won’t hold my breath again. My Cricket Compact .177 cal is taking it’s place instead, due to arrive next week from WWAG.

A Cricket Compact definitely does sub MOA at 40 yards as i quess does the Lelya. I´m sure the Colibri will be as accurate as either Cricket or EdGun.

My question came because I was curious about what scope I’d put on the Colibri. A full-sized scope seems to fit it, judging from Steve’s (WWAG) video. My interest is this: head shots on Squirrels out to 40 yards, like the Brits shoot their non-fac kill shots. Seems quite the challenge. Of course the Colibri would need to be at least MOA accurate at 40 yards. If not, then maybe the Cricket Compact, or even the Edgun Leyla if they have the accuracy.

I will scope mine with a MTC Viper Connect. That is – when i get mine in SEMI-AUTO – i don´t need the manual version. On a second thought i don´t need the damn semi-auto either but i´ll have one anyway just for the sake of it. 😯
My order has been in since March or so.

I have to say the cocking technique Steve demonstrated in the video. Notice the cocking bolt and the cover plate are both smaller in size than the one shown in the older videos of the semi-auto Bird. I wonder if that hold will make it easier to stay on target versus a side-lever like the Cricket.
But if I have a 60 yardd shot, which one? A 20 yard shot, which one?
I should mention I have two scopes on hand: AEON 8-32×50 and the BSA 4-14×44 Tactical FFP. On a Colibri would there be an advantage on one of these over the other with regards to head-shot pest control at 40 yards (especially pest birds)? That’s why my interest in sub-MOA at longer distances. My little brain tells me sub-MOA at 70 yards means almost a guaranteed sub-MOA at 40 yards, and therefore the capability for clean head shots if I do my part. Too much thinking hurts the brain.
