So the 9’s and .308’s are coming from LW?

Thats a .308 shooting a 65gr .223 in a sabot. I used them because they gave me a little more speed than the lightest .308 solid lead slug – I did shoot a few of those too… but only smashed up bits of lead left to show for it so no pics.
The powerwheel/hammer can be the same depending how fat the barrel is. With my .308 I made a new breech, new stem and new top hat – everything else stock.
Shroud doesnt have to be huge, but it does have to be well built otherwise it will rip its way off the end of the gun and damage the internals. Longer it is, better it has to be made because a pellet strike is a bit more serious when its 119gr at 200 fpe. Short ones wont be super quiet, but you wont be alerting the authorities everytime you shoot it. If I was making one I’d definitly be using more than just the end cap screw that can be used on .22 and .25 shrouds to secure it.

The stock barrel diameter where the breech ride’s is around .308 so you need a new or modified breech with a larger opening as it obviously has to be lager diameter than the barrel. You also need a new stem and top hat.

I would love to do a bigbore setup as well. Probably with a nice big paintball bottle. Is anyone still selling offset bottle mounts for these?
I know to turn a condor into a bigger caliber than .25 you have to get a new valve/tophat assembly. I think you also need a breech and all of the other little parts that ride on the barrel (spring/power wheel/etc.)
But it’s been done before, many times. Several members here have made big bores out of them with great results. I would still like to have a .308 setup for mine. 😀
Don’t know about the shroud though, that’s probably a good bit of work to get one that won’t just come apart…
