Q:

So the new Mutant .25 will be ready april 1st

Seems every thing I have been reading on the 25 Mutant and the release will be in April 20017 .
Am I getting that right or even close? And a shorty , Standard, and a long, With no pictures or prices as yet.
I do not want to knock everyone over getting in line, But I really would like to see pictures , prices and specs.
I know Dman has been doing a good job trying to keep us informed, and he has his finger in on these guns somehow.
Maybe his brother lives in Russia, Who knows. No fault of D man for sure.
Even if the release date was tomorrow, I would have to set down and scramble the brains a little, I love short, light weight , and high power.
Looks like I am getting the long version, or maybe the standard, But the shorty sure handles good,
I guess when I hit that pay pal key it will be a done deal.
Rambling

Mike…I’m sorry if I offended you. I made this post under the influence of Walmart “Minty Peppermint Mouthwash” which is 70% alcohol. I developed a taste for it while brushing my tooth (Arkansas…remember?) Anyway, I developed a taste for it, began buying the Economy sized containers, and going through one a day. Walmart started giving me a discount when I started buying it by the case…then they recommended I buy a “Good Sam’s” membership, where I could obtain it by the pallet-load for a steep discount. After that it was all downhill…. :suprisedn:

Anyway, I take back what I said…at least the part about you and Armadillos…as your eyebulbs DO stick out a bit!!!

My original intent was to state that Kidcurry lived in El Paso, after being asked to leave Massachusetts, due to his propensity to take off his clothes and chase old women down the street, then force them to do the “LIMBO” in his back yard, while he took pictures of their cotton panties!!!

Anyway, as the story went…as I heard it from reliable sources…was that Kidcurry moved to El Paso, opened up a one pump gas station and combination Studebaker dealership (this was last year…Kidcurry not being all that bright), anyway, he was starving on what he earned, and began trapping armadillos to supplement his SNAP card, when in the process of dressing one out, he developed a “boner” and came to know the female armadillo…in the biblical sense…and was stricken with forbidden LOVE. He named her Stella, took her to his bed, but later developed leprosy, and had to break it off (the relationship). Anyway, Stella made a fine stew, as revenge for giving him a “STATTD” (Sexually Transmitted Animal To Texan Disease) but he did keep the pictures he had taken at the local wedding mill and the ones he took at home with his smartphone, the ones that were taken off the internet by Pornhub as being “…a bit TOO graphic“.

This story, as sad as it is, has a semi-happy ending. Kidcurry changed the name on his station to “Reverend Earl’s Beer Drive-in & Studebaker Repair Shop“, where he drained the gas out of his storage tank and filled it with Schlitz beer. He now dispenses it into gas cans and sells it by the gallon. It has been a success because no Texas state trooper ever stopped a Mexican for drinking gasoline from the can while driving…Texas law just doesn’t mention that anywhere, nor is it illegal to drive in Texas under the influence of gasoline! The locals always keep a jar of gasoline under the seat to wash their mouth out just in case anyone does stop them and demands a breath test.

His Studebaker shop doesn’t get much repair business, but beer sales are off the wall…(Congrats Kidcurry….here’s hoping you get those sores dried up from that armadillo fisasco!!!)

Well…this story was all a mistake. I should never post under the influence of mouthwash, and I promise not to do it again. You all know that I would rather take a beating that say or post anything that might offend a forum member. However, if you are fucking armadillos I consider you to be fair game, even if I do get the names wrong due to a bottle of mouthwash gone bad.

Well, it’s Sunday and I’m late for church again. It’s my turn to bring the snakes this week, but I’ve still got time to get there before the singing and dancing starts…

Yes, thank you for the clarification. It’s always good to know where these sayings originated.

There must be multiple Lirpa Sloofs though because I first read an article about 20 years ago in a boating magazine by Lirpa. It explained, with appropriate engineering theory as backup, how drilling a pattern of holes in a boat propeller could actually improve the thrust – the byproducts being less fuel usage and/or faster top speeds. Alas, I never obtained a jig to drill the holes back when I had a money hole.

Hum, quite seroiusly, I think if someone looked up all of ol’ respected uncle HOOT’s stories on this forum and made a collection of all these HOOTisms, this might become a Toadsuck Times bestseller
Anyway, thanks ol’ uncle for all this shared educational pearls

Who said they’d be available April 1st? Lirpa Sloof?

:hoot:

For those unfortunate forum sloths “not in the know…” Lirpa Sloof was an Armenian phrenologist who emigrated to the U.S. in 1900.

Unable to successfully read people’s heads in Brooklyn in 1900, due to an unfortunate outbreak of head lice, she moved to Massachusetts and started a business importing Vietnamese pygmy pigs. And…wouldn’t you know it, along came the great “Corn Blight” of 1905, and the pig market went belly up! Fortunately, Lirpa was able to “eat her losses”…so to speak! ( )

Her next effort at establishing herself in the community as a self reliant woman, she began reading fortunes during the day and at night she supplemented her income by trapping sewer rats for the city. Eventually she became so proficient at trapping the sewer rats she was promoted to the head of the city sewer department, where she worked Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays, for the rest of her life.

The interesting part of her story is she continued reading people’s fortunes, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but in an effort to justify a price increase she began “embellishing” peoples true fortunes. The town’s people were deceived for a few years, but her fortune telling prophecies became so ludicrous that she was eventually forced to quit her off days of fortune telling and focus on managing the cities waste products.

So…you may ask, what does this have to do with this thread??? Well, let me summarize quickly…Lirpa became so infamous that the citizens would describe her fortune telling as “Crocks of shit“…this term being used because in those days people kept a crock under their bed so they could shit in it at night, and not have to go outside in the cold. Thus the origination of the phrase “Now that’s a crock of shit…” took place when the crock was checked in the morning, and has been used for generations to describe stories told by glassy-eyed, hare-lipped, individuals who had tendencies to embellish the truth.

There you have it! You are less ignorant than you were before, AND you now understand why Kidcurry indicated iMike’s April 1st prediction was, in fact, a genuine Lirpa Sloof crock of shit.

As usual, there is no need to thank me…you all know that’s just the way I roll. I willingly share my vast stores of history with those less fortunate, less educated, and with the downright bug-eyed West Texas motorheads, who have nocturnal amorous adventures with armadillos, and come up with fantastic stories and predictions!!! Thank god there is ME on this forum….

Wizardly yours….

Who said they’d be available April 1st? Lirpa Sloof?

:hoot:

Mike, I have considered all the trade-offs and am thinking a “Standard” is only 4″ longer, but performance enhancement is ensured.

A .25 needs to hit hard and far, or else why have a .25?

I believe Rowdy said it best when he commented:

quote Rowdy:

It wouldn’t hurt everyone on this forum to give that post some serious thought.

Regards…and may the “Farce” be with you!

Kindly ‘Ol Uncle Hoot:

“release will be in April 20017 .”

Mike if this the right April man, I guess I’m going to be a little past my time for one 🙂 I will say though, not sure how you are getting one either that year in April??? 🙂

I would like to think that far in the future, we might be using something like pulse phase, just say’n…

Now on a more serious note, you thinking your going to go with a long? Wow, I must have missed something cause you have been all about the shorty. So what have I missed? You fear that in .25 caliber the shorty not going to be quite fast enough?

That is mine, and the air tube not big enough for a good shot count. Least that is mine… Yes and now the way to charge the rifle.

You aren’t kidding.
