Q:

Sold my last non Talon airgun tonight … danged Talons !!

Tonight I sold my Tau-7 … the last airgun in my cabinet that is not a Talon. Gone is my custom TX200HC … the RWS 48 … the R-1, R-9, and a couple of chinese clones.

On top of that I spent $ 4550.00 to feed my new Talons this past year … an Air Hog 88 cu. ft. carbon fiber tank and a Bauer JRII compressor … read that $ 4550.00 !!

Now I have 3 Talons in various stages of build and a fourth on the way and while 2 of them are up and running none is truly completed yet … always seems to be something left to do.

Am I nuts ? Dang I LOVE these rifles !! 😀

On the compressor I would own it even if I only had one PCP. I’ve loosely kept track of my air usage since the compressor arrived in mid October … and in the past 3 months I have used about 12,500 pounds of air from it.

I’ve probably pumped 17,000 lbs with it if you include the initial fill of the carbon fiber tank … can you imagine doing that with a hand pump 😆

I’ve got two .177’s one optimized for squirrel hunting and the other dialed down for starlings and sparrows.

I also have a .25 caliber that is just awesome … next up is a .20 caliber … I have never owned a .20 and want to try one.

I’ll take the tank! But then again, love of a Talon is a many splendored thing. I feel your pain my friend. AKULA

They are addicting.

And thanks for the deal on the Tau 7 😀

Damn, now I want a compressor.
