Q:

SOLVED: 11mm to mil spec picatinny rail

I have a TPod which likes a standard ar15 rail. What adapter exists for the talon ss that allows me to mount standard accessories? thx 🙂

Solution and pictures below.

PCP airguns are so much kinder to our accessories than a springer or a firearm.

thats the one i have on both my guns its ok great for $20

I’ve upgraded my laser to the following. I did the usual blue loctite to lock the threads. This is much better than the cheapo academy special I had in the above pictures.

I have been thinking of this rail for some time myself. How long is it?

Thats an awefully personal question. 😆

I’m average.

The flashlight is 120 lumens but needed a little dremel love on the locking cam as it was too tight for the rail. Different copies may have better tolerance.

1 hour of run time on a CR2 so use it occasionally :-). Opens from the front making replacement easy.

Every time I count the talon system out…. It gets a new breath of air with an accessory, different start pressure, top hat o-ring, etc. this system is the AR of the airgun world. Not pretty, not be best trigger, but it just keeps serving up fun accurate shooting.

That is fucking awesome to know, I’m about to order one.

The RWS 850 air magnum rail fits the TSS like a glove. And it supports military spec picatinny accessories.

Thanks!!! I just ordered three sets of those.

I think I found my problem. The T-Pod is Picatinny which is mil-spec spacing… Approx 5mm gap with 5mm ridge. The weaver system is 3.6mm gap with a variable size ridge.

I should be able to rig something with those mounts… Otherwise my dremel gets activated and I go to town 🙂

i have this on both my guns works great with out adding to much weight

The TPod has bolts and locking keys that are at same interval and width as an ar15 tri rail.

Which would you recommend?

They carry them at Pyramyd. Leapers and Bk. The Bk is the better made one.
