Q:

SOLVED! (Is my gun leaking or what? HELP!)

I cannot figure out if my gun is leaking or not, the second hole from the valve direction is giving out bubbles when soap-water is applied, but in 24h (bubbles still coming after second test) it has the exact same bar reading (as far as I can tell) but this is at 225bar. It has leaked before about 7bar in 10h or so. Maybe it only leaks properly at lower pressure? Should I take a few shots at the chrony and see if it starts out slow and then goes up to speed or vice versa? Or should I get it down to 150 bar or lower and do another 24h test?

I cannot figure out what the deal is with this gun, it came empty when it was shipped with air. It leaked before but now the manometer is showing the same after 24h?? I’m thinking it is to do with the high pressure… But the hole is still giving bubbles just as it did 24h ago????

Any help? 😳

I did not Touch anything inside, Ville did the tuning and fuxing. But I agree it looks like toolmarks. The part on the reg is not pretty, but it functions well

to me it looks like someone dropped the reg to a concrete floor or so. then the reg scratched the air tube. or some tool

aluminium does not oxicize like that.
did you try to arc weld the reg hehehe

congratulations you levelled up on fuxeneering academy

No, like I Said, the seller/importer/vender/whatever takes Care of it. Once he has gotten my airtube it is his task to reach out to Kalibr and get compensation.

No doubt they listen more to an importer of their products than they would listen to me though.

You live on Poland right? So you had the barrel issue with yours no? Did you solve that issue on your own or what happened?

It’s hard to believe. Did you receive the answer from Kalibr?

I don’t know why he has not posted in such a long time, he said something about building a new BR gun so maybe he is busy doing that.

Good thing we have warranty eh shooter3? 😉

Good service 😉 and where is Ville?

They will send me a new airtube, there will be a return label in the package for the old one to be returned, so everything is fine and hopefully there will be no more issues

Big thanks to SirVille for helping me out on this one

Ville? No the dealer in Finland who sold Ville the gun. Luckily they know each other so it will hopefully be ok

Edit: yes I mean SirVille

You mean SirVille? Looks like the problem was not noticed by him.

quote shooter3:

Please inform us if there is any warranty when it comes to Kalibr.

The warranty will be with the seller first hand, then it is up to the seller to deal with KG

Please inform us if there is any warranty when it comes to Kalibr.

I can figure out how that scratch inside the AT happened ?

Be sure it is a scratch and not a hair line crack !

The spot on the reg looks like from moisture, but that shouldn’t have an effect on a leak.

Yep, Ville said the same, he has contacted seller about warranty so we will see (Ville bought it for me, I gave Ville the money). That little “lump” looks almost like oxidation wich is a big no no with 220 bar :suprisedn:

As I good understand you have scratched air tube from beginning like regulator starting…
You have two possibilities:
1) if you have a new gun try to claim it to manufacturer
2) try to polishing with dremel or similar tool.

Scratched wall of regulator chamber could be serious leaking problem. :sadn: 😐 Is it bad luck Cricket.

There’s more… It appears to be a very similar scratch on the other side of the AT as well, but smaller. And on the reg there is wierd dark marks as well

Wtf is going on here
