Q:

Some Air Force design changes

I recently received some new parts from AF.

Along with the usual and well known additional set screw to hold in the bottle collar and the 2 extra set screws to secure the frame bushings I noticed some extra changes.

Top rail is thicker –

The breech has three slots cut into it instead of just 1 that was to provide clearance for the sear… Not sure about the reasoning on this one.

And I guess they must have got sick of people calling and asking what that piece of tape does…

I’m going to call and ask for a copy of the parts list to be emailed or faxed to me along with a price list.

Sticky it please. 😀

Thanks Yellow!
May need to buy a frame for a project gun 🙂
Condor frame and CO2 adapter would be sweet.
BTW do they have a parts list somewhere to order from?

Thanks again
Walter…

Yes Walter – $100 for the condor frame, not sure if the talon frame costs the same.

Shrp – that must be it, but I didn’t know the edge had a slot on both sides so was confused why it had three and not just two cut outs. I might try and make something to glue into those cut puts to act as a hammer slap mod.

YN, are you able to get a frame from Airforce?

Changes look good and about time 🙂

Walter….

notches on the breech are so they can use the same part in the Edge, with it’s ambi side cocking option.
