The fps is not a issue with the cph . And if you drop the psi the fps drops but you maintain the shot count .Marvin

Looks a bit hot for me, I think I’ll get the 18″ for FT use. 😀

Thats what I am after as well and with the 3 talon tanks I have they are all with in a 20 fps of each others with the T.H. at .110 . It appears that my condor stem is begining to bend any way so out it goes for now. And then I will have my 4th talon tank . Lots of shots that way Marvin

Thanks for the info. Not looking at B.C. either but just where the velocity is being measured from.

I checked Specialty and the prices for Airforce parts are going up in price. Must be the new shippment and the falling value of the CAN dollar.

I have two Hi-Flo Condor tanks and both are delivering the air very differently. The string that I posted above has the tank top hat at 0.044″ BUT… the other tank with all the same setting has the velocity INCREASING starting from 800fps to 960fps after 20 shots.

Going to continue visting the range to further my search for my Condor’s sweet spot for each tank. I want to be able to connect either tank and still give me the same POI.

About the same as you I did not measure it but I set it on the oposite side of the shooting table out of harms way in the same spot every time . I have not done any B.C. work if that is why you are asking . I might later on . I am glad to see your string . I bought mine for paper work . I have a career 201 s for hunting . It shoots 158 grains just under 700 f.p.s but only about 7 shots at 2800 psi. I have done a lot of chrony work with mine . With the condor and talon tanks . I bought two more talon tanks from Kevin about a week ago . 2 for the price of 1 really . I am going to change my condor valve over to a talon valve and have 4 talon tanks for now . I am just wasteing air with the condor tank . That way when I go to the range I dont have to take my 80 c.f. tank . I will only be shooting a max of 65 yards this summer . I wonder what would happen with another 6 inchs of barrel to use all the air we are useing . Marvin

Mello,

How far away from the muzzle did you place the Chrony? I had mine place about 2.5 feet away from mine. I wanted to know the velocity from the muzzle.

I went through some of my other post and found were I had done the 24 inch talon with 16 grainers .

Top hat at .067 with condor tank and .110 with the talon tank .

Groups with the cph are not a problem at all . What was your fill rate ?

It was exactly like yours 2400psi (airforce hand pump) except my Tophat and PW is the opposite to yours yet our velocity consistency where very similar but I’m using Kodiak .22 and Hi-Flo tank
