Yeah, expensive.
They’ve made them a while I know. I saw them when looking for a tactical light.
I’m sure they’re not cheap. You’ll need a tax stamp for use in the US states that allow usage.
Some are threaded 1/2×28 and others use Surefire proprietary quick detach adapters.
These are built for tactical firearms so quality is not going to be lacking. That however does not mean they are any more overpriced than others. Do some research on firearm suppressors and I’m sure you’ll find they’re ALL overpriced. It’s a luxury item; TOY if you will for most people that use them.

That said, I didn’t know Surefire made suppressors. Would they be adaptable to AF guns? If so, how well would they work and most importantly, how much do they cost?
