Spam Bots will always out smart a non human interface
I think it is time we invoke the same login setup as they have over at Gateway to Airguns. It’s not that cumbersome to login in once.

I had the same question in two threads so I googled it.
It’s a program that makes those fucked up words you have to type to sign up for stuff…

I seem to be seeing a pattern where spam is showing up in certain folders. It is almost like a registered users is opening the door each time they come to these folders.
Admins – look for these patterns and then look who has logged into the forum and gone to these folders before the spam hit.
Nope. Otherwise some members would delete people posts.

Is there a mechanism that could be employed where we members could help you delete the spam? Just a thought.
I understand “Y”. I am happy 😀 as are so many others, I’m sure, are happy that at least that a course of action is being considered.

I’m reasonably new here and I just would hate to see some really knowledeable, experienced people bail out because of the “bots”.

If it takes tooooo long to sign in using a simple task such as Gateway then you don’t need to be a “member” of a forum that is centered around a single shot air rifle 😉
We are listening… are you guys reading…. all the other posts about this same thing.
Trust me…. it’s pissing me off more having to delete this shit than it is you guys having to just skip over it and move along.
You have three guys with somewhat limited experience and the fourth guy who knows what he is doing is on an extended vacation…. Not to mention we still have to decide on the best implementation.
