Operating on the assumption that I am correct that the spinlock tank will screw into the standard collar once it is removed from the frame, why not do such and then insert the whole shebang back into the frame and retighten the set screw. You could even go so far as to mark and re-index the collar. Is not one of the ideas of the spinlock is not to have to remove the tank all of the time?
You would have to replace your standard collar with a spin-loc type collar. The set screw is located on the underside of the when trigger guard,etc is removed.

Why do a spin loc when you can get one of Tony’s tank adapter works great looks great and you can take the tank off where the spin loc needs to stay on

perhaps more info can help. I have a new condor purchased feb 2012, a friend let me try his spin loc tank,but it will not attach to my rifle.I called airforce and they said it would have to be modified. But they do not give out instructions. So I’m asking for some now from the people that know. Thanks for any help. ttmagnum

just want to thank everyone for their thoughts and advice.I believe crazy sniper is correct. I should get a ttta, and it will give me even more than the spinloc. Thanks All ttmagnum
