Spinlock?
Just got a new talon ss and was putting the tank on and the directions show a snap ring that attaches to the Spinlock collar. Mine does not have it and I was just wondering its purpose and if I need to call airforce to get one. Also the CO2 adapter that came with it looks like the tophat is bent, it is curled out and has a burr on it. It also seems like the top is uneven as if when it was machined it was not straight. This is my first post so any help would be great. Thanks, Chris

the airforce tophats are crap it is probably fine also

The newest version of the spin lock doesn’t have a snap ring. It has a lip on it so it doesn’t pull thru.The first version didn’t so it required the clip.
Call them send the adptor back, if it is suppose to have a snap ring, then get it.

Thanks for all the help guys I talked to airforce today and they said use emery cloth to smooth the tophat. They said the wall was so thin that this happens occasionally poor quality control if you ask me!
