Q:

Spring twang

I took my Condor apart to clean it. I had been shooting in a dry sandy field and figured a cleaning was in order. When I took out the spring my apprentice (my 5 year old grandson) decided to help. He then proceeded to remove the spring silencer tag. I have tried electrical tape trying to duplicate the original tag, only worked for about twenty shoots. Then I tried heat shrink tubing applied in several points on the spring. It still went twaang.
Anyone have a fix

Thanks

Your probably right. It really isn’t to bad anyhow.

Thanks for the responses.

This forum is great lots of tinkers willing to share what they’ve learned.

Thanks again 😀

I don’t want that thing might affect my perfomance.

Heck, they use to come from the factory with blue masking tape in there. 😯 They must have gone Hi-Tech! 😆

Check that you didn’t remove the rubber spacer between the powerwheel and the back bushing. That may be causing something funny to happen.

The twang was there before you removed the high tech silencing device your just thinking about it now, in the old days they just used a bit of masking tape if you truly think you need something
