Springers and my start of a hobby

I bought my FWB 124 around 1984 , Been through a lot of pumpers , Lived in the city , It was a HUGH learning curve to shoot the 124.
Still got the got ribbon scope on it, I read every thing MR Beeman wrote, The 177 cal was king and I would own nothing else.
My time frame may be off a little but the spring broke about 1996 sent it back and it just really never shot the same.
Bought a side lever cocking 177 Super max 1000 it will shake the fillings lose out of your teeth, But was very accurate with a 3X 9 bug scope installed , Just a super fun giant gun to shot..
Wild hair in my ass and I bought a under lever cocking tech force premier 177 cal Dam the China has gotten better, I left it open sights as I like shooting with open sites
Then my around the world Motorcycle trip got canceled, Fifteen years in the planning , My health took a turn for the worse, Six moths before my departure date,,, A life long dream setting idle in the garage ,
I looked at the PCPs and thought what the hell I will try it, Its been fun and an adventure every since,
I never thought there would be a more accurate gun than my 124,
The Marauder changed my thinking , The Crickets made the Marauder fill like a toy, The Mutant shoots and fells like a toy with the accurately of the Crickets,
And that’s my story give or take a few years and lines.

Mike I got into it out ta boredom . I shot competitive in archery for about 15 years and was lucky enough to travel and meet some incredible folks all over the country. Then I had a bad fall and messed up my leg and took 2 years to heal and rehab …By the time it healed and I started to practice again I got something called Bells Palsy ( It ain’t something u ever want ) and it paralized one side of my face for months ,
My face works pretty much like before but my eye never recovered and my inner ear has damage also which kinda screws with my balance at times .
On a fluke conversation with a cousin he remembered us shooting rimfire comp when we were teens and said they were shooting something called a PCP that is accurate as a 22 !! I thought Bullshit but bought a used Marauder and I was HOOKED !!!
Now I can see the airguns are something I was kinda looking for …A fun shooting sport I can enjoy right out the back door … Plus as a bonus I’ve met some GREATGUYS and had a blast learning about all the different guns out there !!
