staples sucks
drove 25 miles to my nearest staples store to ship a long gun back to the manufacturer by ups. soon as they found out i was shipping a long gun they wouldnt ship it. told me to find the nearest ups store. they will not see my skinny little ass in that store again!!!! denny

You can’t blame them. You didn’t say air or powder-BUT they don’t have the security for guns.
With all the problems with guns and all the PC crap you should have known better. 😉
If you think Staples is rough on guns, you should go to your local gun store and try to get your staple gun worked on. 😆
Really, with todays political and general society’s views on guns, the last thing you want to do is go in to a store, especially a non sporting related store and talk about the gun you have in the box. I once got approached by the local leo when taking a shot gun in the into a sporting goods store in the mall. And it was in a case! (Yep, they use to have a sporting goods store in the local mall that carried guns). The Cop couldn’t” understand that you had to hand carry a gun into and out of a STORE that carried Guns.
In the old days. Sears, JC Pennys , hell just about every body sold guns. It was nothing to walk into a Sears with a shot gun over your shoulder, and nobody thought a thing about it.

I go to a “Pac-Mail” store nearby who’s motto is, “if it’s dead, we’ll ship it!”
Never had any trouble with ups shipping guns….
Although I can imagine a place like staples being hesitant to take on for shipping.
You might have a problem with the UPS store as well, I think UPS may have an overall policy against shipping guns in general. You can just not tell them what’s in the box, but if it gets damaged during shipment, good luck trying to collect.
FedEx has no such policy.
