Q:

Stealth cocking problem

Recently took my stealth apart for a clean and put it back together. The problem I am having is the sear which holds the barrel slide is not engaging when I cock it.

Cheers, gave the spring abit of a streach, its now working. Thank you for your advice

Make sure you have the sear spring in the right postition then go ahead and give it a bit of a stretch.

The chamfer is facing the rear of the gun. I think the problem is with the trigger system but just dont know what.

If you have the older style solid plastic hammer there is a 45 degree chamfer on one of the faces, this chamfer has to be facing the rear of the rifle for the sear to engage.

That might be your problem.

Did you take the touch the trigger assembly?

Dave
