stealth help ???????????
hi got a few probs with my stealth after having to sell my last one managed to get another have 2 barrels 2 bottles and a couple of hammers and a set of pre load spacers but this one is doing my head in i have tryed every thing but carnt get the bloody thing to group its utter useless my last 1 was a tack driver any ideas the valves are a mk 1 with a 3.3mm through it the other is a mk2 adjustable top hat 1 i have a delrin hammer and also a 100 grm brass one????????????????? 😥

would the tenion of the vale spring be a problem ive set it up as mentioned on here ie wount the preload srcew up til the stem just stops to rise???
i ran the 177 barrel with the 100grm hammer and max preload to the standard hammer spring ova my chrono and found some consistent results ova a string of 20 shots thinking that id susted i went for a zero session after trying 3 diff pellets jsb, hnft it prefered bisley magnums for a tighter group every now and again the group was fairly good then it went haywire opening the group up to nearly 2inches
Presuming your barrel is not moving, theres the crown to consider, and also to check your fps are constant whatever the velocity, increasing the hammer weight is not going to suddenly improve the accuracy. Good luck with it, its a case really of elemination, those early barrels were oversized and inaccurate, i know, i had one once.
hi cheers for t reply both my barrels have black barrel bands i have 2 blanks which i intend to machine once i have sum electric to my new workshop any other ideas maybe a poor hammer spring????
Sounds as you may have one of the old barrels in there and not a L.W. , look to see if its got the white plastic barrel bushes, if so its the old dick up a shirt sleeve one.

if you havnt already check the crown mate. i have a hpa 2250xt which was fitted with a 18″ barrel (.22). and got a flyer every 5th shot then the groups opened right up. some did’nt even hit the 6×6 paper target at 35yards. i brought a brand new 24″ barrel and its now doing near pellet on pellet again. hope you get it sorted
my dad borught an older model stealth the other day and i dont think that as a L/W barrel but is giving 1″ groups at 40yards ive got a 22″ luepy barrel fitted to mine.
