steel valve bodies
These valve bodies and top hats have been made from bright steel hexagon bar. I’ll be taking them to a company in Sheffield to have a black oxide coating. This is the same coating that is used on gun barrels. I’ll post a picture of the finish when I get them back.

That’s down to this govt’s mentally sick ban-culture nazism. It’s not actually illegal to send somebody a valve in the UK, but the diseased fucks running this toilet will persecute you for it to the utmost of their ability none the less, hence Leupy’s/Sean’s policy.

hi baz nice to see someone from this area . i have a stealth in .22 cal on my f.a.c. ive done a bit of work on it and i now get 40 shots at a consistent 30 ft lbs do you know of anywhere who does tuning / custom parts for them in the u.k. thanks steve from scunthorpe

I took the valves to a Company called Northern Blacking in Sheffield on Thursday afternoon and they were ready for collection on Friday morning. They only charged £5 for doing the lot. Not a bad price considering a very quick turn-round. I have had barrels done by the same company and provided the barrel is polished to a mirror finish they come out excellant.
Al sell you one or al send you the dim’s and you can make one.
( if you ever get the lathe off of the wagon 😆 .)

No mate, stainless steel is different as it dosen’t rust, but bright steel will rust if not treated in some way. Its full name is bright drawn mild steel usually abbreviated to BDMS.

Not in the UK I’m afraid.
While I understand certain peoples’ policies I rather think it’s about time law-abiding citizens in this country started taking a stand against the thugs running it and at the very least didn’t refrain from perfectly legal activities (selling valves etc) just because somebody dressed in blue might try to criminally intimidate them over it. So somebody might use a valve to over-power an air-rifle. What next? Somebody might buy a kitchen-knife from Tescos and use it to stab someone.
This ban-culture ‘preventionism’ is a sick disease that is sucking the heart and soul out of this country.
