Q:

Stem just falls out

I bought a Co2 adapter recently with the old style stem. After shooting maybe 45 shots through it, the stem just slides right out, a call to AF said that only new style tapered stem is available along with new delrin seal. Is there a place I can get the old style seat and some sort of o-ring set up for the top? Thanks, Tim.

if you mean where the stem rides, in the hole in the brass, then yes. if you dont have it, it wont be a big deal as co2 maintains pressure regardless of leakage. it may slightly lower shot count and increase wear on the stem and guide. if you got the couple of bucks for a new one with o ring, i say go for it. if you need help changing it toss me a pm…

Thanks for the advice, I got it used from this forum, no real way to tell how used it was. Is there any o-ring at the top of the brass part?

rough up the inside of the delrin a bit and use sleeve retaining loctite or a drop of CA glue and it should hold without being entirely permanent. i have the old style seal if you need it…

i dont understand why they keep giving guys recycled mk1 valve parts for the co2 adapters, mine had thoroughly modern hi flo components, and i got it over a year ago… 😕
