A bit of research revealed the following…

Was the name of the old MSN group. As best I can tell, it was started in 2001-2002. It remained active until early 2004, when Andrew created the Talonownersgroup. I joined that site in late 2004.
At the time, mods in the AF world was limited to polishing internals and even using deep well sockets as hammers. The Condor had just came out and was not living up to it’s reputation, and the Talon was being scoffed at on the Yellow forum. The general consensus at the time was as an inexpensive PCP, the Career was by far the better choice.
There was a bit of a war on the Yellow between the Talon guys and non Talon guys, with Steve CT and Beammeupscotty on the Yellow leading the charge against the Talon.
Of course, Steve came around and eventually turned out to be integral in providing a place for the new Talon forum when it was needed after the implosion of the TOG.
Other facts….
The first mention of an Airforce Talon on the Yellow was October 16, 2000
James Kitching, founder of the Yellow forum, tried to contact Airforce to become a dealer for his airgun store, The Fun Supply. Airforce would not return his calls.
In 2002, there was a short lived Talon (Stealth) PCP Fun Supply forum… http://www.network54.com/Hide/Forum/71036
and for those who never got to meet Andrew McFarland, who founded the TOG, here is a quote from him that may offer a bit of insight as to the kind of person he is.

I joined the TOG in 04. I think it had been around for a couple years before I joined. Before it was the TOG, it was a Yahoo group or something similar.
I am just building the place up so when I take it down it will be spectacular!
