I know… 😉
Check the other thread related to this.
Thats what Oliver said about you…. 😛
That was Spencer…..
Although Oliver is an equally annoying little fuck. Not quite big enough to be a true shit, he’s still just a skid mark on the underwear of the airgunning community.

First off, welcome to the forum. The committee just got a little overzealous and took your first post out of context.
You had no way of knowing that we have a “masked marauder” who shows up from time to time under different names and doing his best to “stirr the pot” re. Tony’s mods and a few others that do a great service to the airgun community. Your first post fit right into his normal M.O. so a few folks got protective.
No airgunner/modder in his right mind would ever do tunes/mods to a customer’s gun that created either safety or reliability issues. If they did they wouldn’t be doing it for long before everyone caught on.
I will warn you of one DANGER in modding your condor………………………… its like Pringles…….you can’t stop at just one. Hold on to your checkbook or it could be a loooooong ride with your new Condor. 😈 😈 😈 😈
I had him do me a barrel, he done that shipping thing with me also utmost in service and as I did post prior the barrel was polished beyond belief way beyond what the stock finish is. Its like comparing a new knife to an old one. Two thumbs up.
Folks are a bit protective here and I think it’s great. We are protective not because we like to jump down the throats of new folks… well some seem to enjoy it…. 😳 but because Tony is someone that we trust. Some dealers may remember the days (before TalonTunes) when that we all were trying to figure out how to make our Condors perform properly. We were making hammers out of deep well sockets and doing all kinds of crazy things… but those days are long gone and the methods that Tony uses have been tried and true.
As others have stated, some dealers may still have a bit of animosity, but then again… they are dealers. They want your business. Tony is really good about letting others speak for his work and services. You’ll never find Tony on the forums tooting his own horn. He has a loyal group of followers that do that.
I can certainly understand doing a double take after hearing what you heard…. but I also think that it’s unwarranted.
Thank you for your responses. It is nice to recieve a response to my questions. My questions obviously got lost due to the manner in which I asked them in an earlier post. I simply have been told something and wanted to check with people who have actually used the products produced. I have visited the Talontunes website and have spoken to Tony on the phone about modding my rifle. This was prior to me receiving the rifle. I asked Tony if I could send him the deposit for the work done and hold the rifle I was purchasing from a third party until he was ready to work on it. He responded that that would be fine. I does not seem unreasonable that I would be worried when my dealer tells me not to do the mods. I was simply trying to come to a conclusion concerning the veracity of comments I have read and heard about TalonTunes.
I bought my first shroud and .25 bbl from Tony. Quality of work is top noch and he is great to deal with. I had spoken with him several times and had expressed a date I would like to have the barrel and shroud by for an upcomming shoot. He said he would do his best to accommodate my goal. Things wound up getting delayed a little and he didn’t get to the post office on time to which I told him don’t worry about being off a couple days, I understood; no problem.
What does Tony do?……..He gets my package off 2ND DAY AIR paying the extra shipping cost himself so that I could have that weekend shoot ❗ ❗
THAT’S CUSTOMER SERVICE I DON’T MIND PAYING A LITTLE EXTRA FOR.
😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
As I posted in the other thread….. I wrote an article for Airgun Hobby Magazine on my Talon Tuned .25. I even posted pics of the article here on this site and if you squint, you can read the article.
I also did a testimonial for Tony on my Talon he worked on. Have you read the testimonial page on his site? Those are real folks… I’m one of ’em.
Thanks for your approval. Do you own a Talon Tunes modded Condor?
That is a much better approach to finding an answer to your question. You could also do a search on these forums and see what folks have already said about him and his work.

no malice intended regarding your post.
the thing is you fail to understand ethical treatment of the accused.
When someone is accused of something it is the right thing to do to name such.
There is no other way to understand the context of the argument. It turns into a specualation that unfairly tarnishs the named individual.
So grumpy on ethics? damn right!
thanks Rob, Y for your understanding 🙂
Walter….
