Stock SS with WokBut and custom ForeArm
Here is my internally stock Talon SS with WokBut and forearm I made from wood. I plan to make a grip next, but that might be a ways off. I am really enjoying shooting this Talon SS.
And a view through the scope. A Nikko S. 6-24X56AG NightEater with 3omm tube. I love the scope…..hope that is not your house.

Mine also came with the side wheel and sunshade, but I keep my rifles in cases most of the time and the side wheel does not like to be in a case.

It came with a 100mm sidewheel and a sunshade. I find the height just fine. 🙂
Thanks, it sounds like a sweet scope. I was thinking of getting the nighteater with a sidewheel. Did yours not come with one, as well as a sunshade? And what about scope height? Is that height fine or do you find your neck uncomfortable after a little while?
2nd recommendation for the 6-24×56 Nighteater here. I’ve been out playing with it and trying it at different mags etc and it’s a real beaut. 😀
I love the 6-24X56 nighteater that I have. I am thinking about buying a second one for a different rifle. I have had the one that is on the talon now on a Gamp CFX for almost a year and I loved it on that. Now that it is on the talon I have nothing on the CFX. I am thinking about getting a second one to go back on the CFX.
Can you tell me more about night eaters? I was considering buying one a while back.
And to the OP, do you find that scope height suitable? Or is your neck tilted way to the side. I’m considering throwing away the tri-rail because it adds height and only further adds to the distance between scope and barrel.

Yes, good job on the forestock, looks good blacked out, and the angles compliment the guns angles also, along with the scopes angled ocular bell even. Glad to read positive reports on the Nighteater as well. Looks like one will be riding on top of my TSS soon. Sounds like they’re a notch or two up from Leapers scopes, at least I hope they are, as that’s what I have now and not to happy with it, mainly because of POI shifts.
