Mike…I think you are doing the right thing! I’ve bought inexpensive guns before and ended up putting more into them than it was worth, got good to excellent results, but when it came time to move on to whatever was next, I ended up eating a lot of the parts and selling the rest by the piece. Seems no one wants to buy an updated, modified, inexpensive airgun for what you have in it. I learned when you build a custom modded pcp, you better plan on keeping it forever, because you will never get your investment back.

Besides, let someone else break one in, and learn whether it’s worth the time and trouble to obtain one.

It’s a Turkish made pcp and here is a review of the rifle version…seems to be a “one valve fits all”, as the velocities and fpe’s drop as you get into the larger calibers. No shame in that, but good to know. The review seems rather favorable, and the price is certainly reasonable:

So I see, have a pre-order with a .22 Marine Puncher but they haven’t notified me yet. :biggrinn:

They just took a little while to clear customs. I have my first bullpup coming in 22! If it’s good, I’d get another in .177. I ordered mine from Airgun Depot but I think they are all being drop shipped from Air Venturi.

Yes, Yes, I did the number thing, Time I put a LDC and a regulator on it and maybe a good barrel if needed , I could have bought a Mutant
I know the Mutant is a 22 and its a give and take thing in the PCP world, For the money I know what a 22 Mutant can do,
Just not willing to gamble the cost will end up being close to the same ,177 a gamble, 22 Mutant a sure thing,
case closed for me anyway.

good luck Lee,
I hope Feb 14 th is the date and they do not move it again.
If they get them in stock I may buy another, but I am not doing the waiting game,

I hear ya. With so many new guns available to ship now, it’s a buyer’s market. If it wasn’t for price, I’d pick up a FX Wildcat.

Im on the waiting list as well. As much as it is an annoyance that the date was pushed back, for the features, the wait will be worth it. As soon as it comes, I gonna model this bitch up in SolidWorks and letting the modding begin!

well it was Jan 31, then Feb. 2 then Feb. 14
Been there done that.
Mike

Still says 2/14/17 expected in stock date, hell thats just around the corner. Heck I waited over a year for Vollmer to build my full auto HK 53 back in the day.Someone needs a little patience. 😛
