suggested .22 ammo
Hi – brand new member here.
I have a new condor ss .22 due to arrive very shortly and will mostly be target shooting at 30 yards or so in my neighborhood back yard where I want to keep the noise down.
What are some suggested pellets I should try?
I’d like to have a few tins ordered and ready to try when the gun arrives.

I don’t have the distance either so I shoot JSB which stack up when I concentrate.
I haven’t shot my Condor out past 50 yards, but at 50 yards I stand by my comments. JSB’s are definitely the best, but at 50 yards I’m not getting any fliers from the Eun Jins or the Kodiaks. The 12g H&N I’ve only shot out to 30 yards and even then they were starting to open up a little, but for such a light pellet I expected much less.
The OP asked about .22 pellets for shooting at 30 yards, my comments were in response to his question, not pellets in general.

Eun Jins Mike, will shoot pretty good in short distance, anything after 40, it’s a maybe. The Crow Magnums shot good at 30yrds and after that they get worse and worse, now Predators are better just cause of the cone in the middle, anyone ever try these Rabbit Magnums??? Got to better then Eun Jins I would think, hell Wally world Crossmans shoot pretty good, you would have to tune down in pressure though.
Jsb 18’s ordered three 500count tins when I ordered my condor SS and it loves them! If there is a more accurate pellet in my rifle I think I have half a tin left… At 30 yards I would highly suggest the co2 adapter 9oz tank is very comfortable 700 fps with the jsb 18’s and hundreds of shots per tank, I was going to get a standard tank but no need after using the co2 supper accuate out to 50yrds plus.
Kinda hard to believe. Unless you are shootiing at typical spoinger ranges. Yes, they will shoot at 10-14, even 20 meters. But how do they shot at Condor ranges 50-75- and 100 meters? No way I would believe some of the pellets you just listed are accurate. If they are, you are the first of many hundreds of shooters to see it. 😯

JSB 18.1 and 25.3 are what my Condor SS shoots best (18.1 best) but Eun Jin 28 and 32g are very accurate too. H&N 12g hollow point are fun for making noise and surprisingly accurate for supersonic pellets, and the 21g Kodiaks are decent as well.

I’ll bet that you are going to find that JSB, JSB, Or JSB’s will shoot the Best! 😉 😀

Yea, 30 yards is sproinger and Edge range. You will probably get tired pretty quickly of popping paper in your backyard with that cannon and find a place where you can really stretch it’s legs!
Now once you have learned that Condor, you might pick up a .177 barrel, a Talon valve/tank and a Talon hammer to swap out for backyard shooting and use the .22 for long range death and destruction.
At 30 yards your gun shouldn’t be pellet picky. One of the keys to accuracy is to keep the speed reasonable. Your gun out of the box will probably shoot 18.1 way faster than necessary. I recommend you charge it to 2500 psi and turn the power wheel down to “0” and try some JSB 18.1 and I think you’ll be stackin’ em.

My condor ss in .22 is deadly accurate at 45 to 60 yards using the H and N 21.18 grain match and killed 7 woodchucks yesterday, yes 7 in 3 hours.
The farm is infested with them. I used a Hawke scope 4×12 50 mm EV scope that was zeroed at 30 yards.
The combination of the these heavy pellets and the Hawke scope make for woodchuck death.
I tried the J and B jumbos 25 grain but felt they underperformed.
This was at a power setting of 8 and a fill to 2800 psi.
some of the woodchucks were close to 30 pounds.
