Q:

sumatra 2500 .25 carbine

Okay, anyone with any feedback on this carbine please offer it up. I am thinking of getting this one for one purpose: to keep next to the bed in case anything goes bump in the night. I know what your saying, “powder burners” but lets just say I’m not allowed to have any powder burners in my home. So, I am looking for the most powerful, knock down, repeater available that will at least put the fear of God in someone when they get kissed by it. Thanks!

Those things look like fun!

I got the chance to play with a MP-5 HK full auto in 9mm with a full suppressor on it a few weeks a go WooHoo, now were talking! 😀 But I would hate to have to feed it! 😯

Tachdriver-
try a laser, put one on mine, it’s a blast shootig off hip 😆 😆 😆

I have a Drozd that I modded out…..automatic, long barrel, pressurized air conversion, large battery pack, etc, etc. Puts out 650 fps. I’d really like to have a large cap mag, which is still in the works. Basically I’ve done everything you can do to one except go to 1000 psi reg air.

here’s a sampel

Yes, I read that the florida law allows convicted felons to own black powder firearms that are dated 1918 or earlier, or replicas of these models. I read that a convict was recently convicted of owning a black powder rifle in FLorida and the court of appeals upheld his conviction because he “modified” it and put a fiber optic sight on it. The judge said, “there were no fiber optic sights on the original model.” Thus each replica must be exactly that, a replica. The problem with any law is that it is not “written in stone”, but open to interpretation. Albeit sometimes capricious and self-serving interpretations. The last thing I want is to have to get arrested, spend time in the dunk, waste money on bail, waste time and money on lawyers, go through all that heartache to hopefully be vindicated. Not worth the hassle. So what I am trying to do is get a letter from the attorney general of Florida that will in essence cover me should I ever own a black powder replica. You know, something in writing, stamped with the Florida seal, that shows that I asked the question before purchasing. I have always been a fan of B.P. My buddy has one of those “pepper box” replicas. I wouldn’t want to be blasted in the face with that thing.

quote knifemaker:

Don’t forget, The Federal law doesnt’ consider a black powder revolver a fire arm! A .44 Ruger cap and ball is stout as hell!

A lot of the north eastern states consider them fire arms, and Cali. probably does. But Fla. didn’t the last time I heard.

Mike

In Mass you can buy the Back Powder Pistol without a licence… but you cannot buy the black powder, LOL

Midway USA also requires a copy of your firearms licence on file to ship roundballs here , which is likely a response to silly laws we have and not wanting to inadvertently break them.

Thanks saw, nice video!

Here is my un modded drozd in action

There are some guys modding them, saw them at the gun show, can’t remember the site name, I will try and find.

SAW

Thanks guys, I appreciate your help!

I don’t know about what kind of fpe you can get out of them, but I have seen some bad assed ones on the forms, I may be mistaking but I think rob3dr and Nuglor both have some nice ones, maybe they will chime in on what they could be made to do.

if nothing else, a full auto bb gun will scare the shit out of them as well as blind them for life when you aim for the eyes 😉

You would probably want to post a want post on Yellow and expensive, looking at 1000.00 drop in the bucket, Randy Mitchell is a guy to ask about any being around, he has an american airgunning forum, I think, someone else can correct me if I got info wrong.

Maw, that DAQ looks nasty, I bet they cost a pretty penny. Are they still manufactured, or do you have to find a used one?? Thanks for the info.

When I was justa boy, I came home and I seen ol’ Jessie Dixon on top of my momma. He was havin his way with her…well, I seen Red. I picked me up a Kaiser blade, some folks call it a sling blade, I call it a kaiser blade, and I hit him upside his head with it, keeled em, hmmmmmm.

For real, though, you know the ol saying: young, dumb, and full of cum. That was me. little mini gangster from N.J. My grandfather was the real deal, Genovese Crime family, top earning bookmaker….All I ever saw was these shiny caddys and these flashy dudes with there slicked back hair and diamond pinky rings. Man, thats all I wanted to be. Started down that road at the tender age of 14. Three year run ended in executing and burying a member of my crew in the swamps of Jersey in 1984. Joined the Marines to get away from it all after that. Was arrested three years after the crime in 1987 and charged with murder. Three lawyers, 85,000.00 and my grandfather calling on every connection he had netted me a reduced plea of the lesser charge of aggravated manslaughter with a max sentence of 10 to 20 years. Spent 12 years in the oldest prison in the U.S. Trenton State, N.J. “I reckon they turned me loose back in 1998, said I was well”. And now I can never own a powder burner for as long as I live, or at least for as long as the law still exists whichever expires first.

Now are you pulling my leg or what, gtbj. Can that drozd be modded to do some damage. That thing seems insane as it is. Can you get some fpe out of a little bb???? Man, could you imagine trying to clean up all those bb’s from around your house.
