Q:

Sun set and only 98 degrees

Cooled off a little bit , The sun was setting and the temp dropped to 98 degrees, Got to bring the 22 cricket out after setting up a few months , (mutant to blame).
I shot a steel wasp can about 50 times it was a mess, Took out all the little numbers and letters and the pictures of the wasp, The steel; can was a mess and dangerous to pick up after all the shooting, This was all done at 48 yards ,
The Mutant short is fun and great to shoot , but I am still in love with my 22 cricket,
I really need to get a video camera , The JSB 18 gr do a lot of damage, Pecans and marbles had me laughing out loud .

Just rained and it is 66 F at 2pm. :8:

Damn squirrel was stealing hazel nuts and that’s a major offense. Some evils in the world are just too dastardly to ignore.

Took my AAs510 outside and parked it by the door to warm up. Sure enough, the greedy nutster came back. They always eat all/everything, never leaving food behind.

He made the mistake of trying to hide/be still and … :4:

He’s in the compost now, he’s in the compost now
No more stealing crops, it’s his time to rot
He’s in the compost now

In this heat and humidity, he may be gone by tomorrow :biggrinn:

Pretty soon, I’m gonna need a spear gun to hunt those bastards.

quote Zonk:

98 degrees with the heat index of 106 degrees and 100% humidity here in Ohio, to hot for me to go shooting

+1
We’re a little cooler, but super humid. Sometimes days of mist; no real rain for months= minor drought.

If you don’t want to trash your gun(s) by shooting outside, you basically need to put ’em in a tight case/bag and leave ’em outside to rise up to ambient temperature, so condensation won’t cover everything. I tried to step out and nail a squirrel…nope, scope fog. Better off with a slingshot!

This temperature is the night low.

Twenty year record heat for us too after three mild summers. :angrymob:

98?? Over here it is 50 degrees and I wear a jacket over my Hood when I go somewhere… Due to global warming we have not had a proper Summer for a while. Whe get a heat Wave for a couple weeks and then back to Winter basically :angrymob:
