the spring silencer , a simple little thing wrapped around the spring.im not really digging it as it pops out by the side wheel ,my question is other then a little spring vibration , would there be any negative affects if i remove it.

Removal of the spring silencer by anyone other than the end user is punishible by a fine not to exceed $500 and or imprisonment for 6 months.

Air force thought it would cancel spring vibration, and make the gun quieter.
I think the clacking of keys on my keyboard is louder than the spring when I fire the rifle but I wouldn’t know for sure as Ive never actually heard the spring.
I thought it was just a tag so they knew it was a spring , it does nothing, get rid of it.
