supposed government issue tactical rifle scope???
Is this for real. Nowadays you can’t trust these companies. Does anyone know if these were G.I. at one time and if so, why is there surplus amounts of them? I admit I’m out of the loop, but has anyone ever scene one of these atop any M20’s or M40’s??? If these are that good, then this is one hell of a buy. Feedback please.

I have seen every scope the military has up to 1995 and I’ve never had one of these cross my path and I thought the comment “may be marked U.S govt” that’s a nice touch don’t you think lol.

Now about this scope. Worst thing is, the end price. You many times see items sold in the media with supposed huge discounts. Watches are a biggie. When in reality, the price sold at is about right. For instance, if you see a euro styled watch advertised as a 1000.00 watch but being offered at huge discount, it is a game. It is worth RETAIL what it is actually being openly offered at. And its’ worth will drop instantly once you own it. (Try a pawn shop of second hand jewelry store if you don’t believe it.)
The real deal. Rolex. Omega. Paneri. All go up in value. Not down. And there is no huge discount on them. Hell. A use paneri sells for more used that new. Even if only a year old. Not an antique.
These Scopes are another matter all together. It’s a scam. They are only 130 to 150 dollar Retail Scopes at best, with a STORY being used to swindle the un knowing buyer. Worst part is, some of the legitimate dealers and whole sellers are being duped as well. This is just one example.
I would be mega pissed if I paid 800 USD for tis piece of shit. A Bushnell banner is a better scope. There are questions and answers on these scopes all over the internet. Snipper sites, Law enforcement. Even some law enforcement agencies have fallen for this crap. Not many cops really know much about guns and optics at all.
This has to be the biggest scam in the gun world I have seen.

They just recently switched over to S&B (lucky SOBs). But I’m sure some of the guns out there still have Leupolds and others on them.
But yeah, most of them will soon be S&B.

I was suspicious at first too. In the milatary EVERYTHING has a nomenclature IE: M16, M4 , M1, M18 claymore M16 “bounceing betty”
and useally comes with an extensive field manual.(FM) In fact if they had a FM on Fuc*ing it would be about 2 inchs thick .

No scope “gathers” light. The super clear glass of high end optics transmit light better than other ones, but none of them gather it.
I don’t know anything about the scopes, but I’d trust the knife guy. If it came from china he’ll tell you. And tell you, and tell you, and tell you.

But seriously, anything that says it retails at nearly 3 grand but is “on sale” for less than 800 needs to be looked at hard. Sure, a little sale is understandable, but that’s just ridiculous. Usually there’s something else to it, and as knife explained, there is.
Nothing I hate worse than someone telling a lie! Why try to put the screws to someone just for a dang dollar? It’s a shame that so few people can be trusted today.

80, those scopes are pure junk and a scam. They’re 130.00 Chinese scopes that they are hawking as US military mis spec scopes They Are Not US Military Anything! And the retail at 2900 what ever is a pure fabrication. It is all over the forums about this rip off. One clue is all the lettering and logos on most of the offerings and the very tall turrets. Neither of which are mil. spec. the turrets look like some of Optisan’s, but I doubt they are even that good of a quality.
I did a little research about they’re super light gathering coating that they talk up so much. It is Double Talk. It is NOT what is used in optic coatings on any scope I have ever heard of. No such animal. 👿
