nice light…i do alot of skunk hunting and iget about 4 -5 seconds to shoot before there gone with my torch. nice hook-up…. 😀

Semi true. They can distinguish that there is a light source present, however it does not constrict the pupils in their eyes like an unfiltered light. The natural refraction of the red light shining in their eyes does not hurt and startle them like a white light that causes the night eye to constrict, thus making the pupils stay dilated causing them to appear to be shining back at you like spotlights.
