T.T.T. Tony Talon Tunes

I received my Talon Tunes .25 a little while back, but due to travel, I just fired it today for the first time.

Michael S. just asked about Tony’s guns – so, here ’tis.

I used JSB Match Exact King 25.39 grains for this little test at 100 foot range, using a 24x mil-dot scope from Tony.

Tony sent a 40 yard target that was a little less than a one inch group.

At 100 feet, my first shots were about an inch high of my aiming point. Rather than make a sight change, I aimed 1.0 mil-dot down and ran five rounds with that setting. The five shots were in a group that could be covered by a dime c-t-c in the center of the X-ring (and I am a very poor rifle shooter)!! I was, of course, shooting from Tony’s bipod.

OK –

Accuracy…….. Stupid Good
Trigger……….. Crisp, medium light release
Ergonomics…..Set them to suit yourself, easily adjustable

It makes me a better rifle shooter that I ever thought I could be, and I just turned 70!!

Whatever the caliber, just ask Tony to build what you want in the gun. I promise you it will everything you ask for and more.

Do not expect a fine instrument such that Tony builds to be bargain basement in price – not going to happen. Tony, in my opinion, is underpriced for the quality of his work. I have shot good .177 target guns and have not performed as well as with Tony’s.
