Hey…thanks for the tip. I called Allen and he really knows his stuff about the AA series. I’m going to ship it off to him and let him work some magic on it.
He indicated a full barrel shroud is very difficult because you need to raise the breech to get enough clearence. I want no part of that.
I was in contact with Sean in the UK, but I’m afraid anything he might work up would be stopped by US Customs, and then I’m out a good piece of change.
Seems safer to go with Allen. I’ll post pictures when it returns.

This is what you need.

I have the latest 410 with side lever and fatter shroud and its not super quiet on full power, but its still quiet enough for my back yard I think. I tend to shoot it at 20 fpe just to reduce the noise even more.
Sorry I think the one Steve was talking about was screwed into the
shroud and is the same diameter. It was a while back and my memory
is not great. I was thinking of doing it like the other post to reduce the
OAL.
Matthew
no have to remove the shroud.
Steve at Pamona said he knows someone who will make a moderator
to fit over the existing shroud like this…http://talonairgun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11222
Only problem is it will make the gun quite long.
Sorry link wont work …. it is the topic in other guns…Air Ranger with
reflex silecer
The other option I was thinking was to just take it off and put
on an LDC. Look at the AA owner site from the UK and see they
have some set ups that look real good with a ldc, new barrel band,
and cover for the barrel breech end.
Matthew
You should be able to screw an LDC right onto the shroud right?
Yea that is odd Rich told me he could do one for a s410c.

That won’t work for me. I can’t do what I need to do at 350 fps!
Blodnob has contacted me, and perhaps he can get the job done. If not, I guess I need to start exploring the end of shroud units.

DO WHAT? He makes full shrouds for BSA Sportsman HV’s and the are
shooting 1,000FPS with 15.9gr JSB…. Ok…
Try Anthony Storey….

If all else fails just put and LDC on it….
Rich in Mich said “Nope…not possible. Turn down the power level.”

I didn’t realize there was that much difference. I was also told to contact “Rich in Mich” and I’m waiting for a response from him.
Someone must make these somewhere.

Rich should be able to do it…. Just make sure you tell him exactly what
you want in writing…. I recieved the wrong thing 3 times in a row…. He
is good and cheap….. Phone 616-863-0116
I tried that and Steve faxed me back and advised he made them for the older AA, but not the “newer” ones???

Yes I do.
Go to Pomona Airgun page. He can make you a shroud and riser block for it.
