Yes I would love to see a long time shoot out of the two guns, I am sure both are super accurate , But after a while who has the leak , and the little part failures,

The compact wc is the Same power as the longer mk2 25 wc. Just uses more
Air which means smaller shot count.
I told Justin at Utahair that he will smash sales if he can sell Donnys new Tatsu (compact Sumo) with the compact 25. The stackable moderators are ok but you will lose a little of the compactness if you want it to be chihuahua fart quiet. Coincidentally my 25 cal DonnyFL Tatsu LDC arrives today. More to come!

Yes. I’m not a huge fan of FX myself. Seeing how I spent more time trying to tinker and figure out how to shoot my FX Impact optimally vs actually shooting, It was a turn off trying to diagnose the gun vs is it me, but atleast I’m over any fear to tear into a gun now.
Your 22 Wildcat sounds exactly what I’m looking to gain in the 25 compact wc. That was the one thing I never had to tinker with on my impact – was the cocking lever, and I liked how quickly I could cycle through the action, Thats what she said. I’m assuming it will be identical if not better on the mk2 wc.
Sounds like you have a shooter and the trade off like you said is 8 shots but atleast the mags are the same price range as the vets maybe even a little cheaper. The FX Impact magazines are 80 to 100 bucks. Blows my mind and I hate cassette magazines.
I know I’m offending some folks lol cuz fx ain’t got too much love here but oh well. Atleast we wont have to worry about the comparison being unreal or biased. It’s going to get all the scrutiny it needs to really define it. I’m going to post herr in TAG since in the 25 compact air rifle arena there seems to be a huge market and I think many of he largest contributors and people in that market are on this forum too. We Just want to find the best lil pup we can. Both companies fx and taipan got my money and doors always open if the guns don’t hold up. Thats the one thing I can say about the Taipan Vet vs any other guns I’ve owned. The taipans have been trouble free for the year or so I’ve been shooting them and that just keeps the Joy of shooting that much better.
Great comparison RJ, I like the compact WC look. My concerns are, does the WC have enough power and will it need help from Donny to quiet the shorter barrel. The Veteran has proven itself and been in the hands of the end user for some time, Good luck, please post your findings here on TAG. If you don’t mind, what was the price from your vendor??

You won’t find many Wildcat lovers on this forum. My Wildcat out shoots my Mutants and has one of the smoothest cocking levers out there. Only eight shot mags suck though.
