Taipan FPS bump….???

So….a Taipan Shorty gets 799 fps max with HST adjustment in .22 caliber, JSB 18.1gr.
How are some of you reaching near 850 fps with that gun??? HST can only fine tune downward from the “800” mark.

Look in your account settings at the display options. The Display posts from previous days may be set to something like 7 days.

The Mutant came without any diagrams, owner’s manual, or pictures of how said plenum is accessible or tricks involved in installing it. We can’t all be “Dman!”

No PCP is limited to low fps.. You can get 1000fps+ out of anything at the simple cost of air.

I believe you to be right about the spacer. I’d be hesitant to be boring out transfer ports on that gun. I can’t see where slimming down the valve stem would make any noticeable difference…BUT, as with the cottage cheese idea, and turds filled with Planter’s Peanuts…you simply never know what floats till you try!

With his Swiss Cheese pre charge spacer up grade I got an additional 15-20 fps increase. My Shorty is achieving about 825-830 fps max with 18g.
He as so can machine your valve stem waist down adding more output, but I’d hold up on increasing the TP until all else is tried.
