Taipan Veteran Picatinny rails
I installed these UTG rails on my Veterans today. They seem to fit perfectly and I now have full length rails under the forend. Can’t get much longer at all really.

Yup, exactly what I have on mine. Got rid of the clone Atlas and use this. Pan/swivel/tilt, so smooth!!! Great for hitting birds in trees, amongst other uses.
Tried the AFG 2 and not a fan. At least not on the Veteran so I put it on my AR .22 and it’s staying there. These both received there bipods today both UTG Recon 360 Heavy duty bipods. Shorty is getting medium height and Standard getting the tall height
Now what are you gonna grace them with? The Magpul AFG as mentioned on other forums? Detachable bipod? Detachable laser/light combo? Detachable penis? Do tell…. :whistle:
Yeah I barely made it on the Shorty. Only reason I used these is I had both these left over from doing one of the smaller ones on my Mutant Standard. Lucked out how they fit. Thanks Tony.

I usually use a 2 inch rail on the short.

I’ve had 2 of those Atlas clones before different brands and NEVER again lol these UTG seem way better for the same price and like you said very smooth!
