Q:

Taipan Veteran Standard 25 vs Brocock 25…

Hello colleagues again,
What do you think of the following:
1. Taipan Veteran Standard 25 vs. Brocock Commander 25?

2. Taipan Veteran Standard 25 vs. Brocock Batnam Sniper HR 25?

I would really like someone to make a comparison between these guns !?

Thanks in advance!

I have the Taipan Veteran Standard .25 and I cannot say anything bad about it other than it’s almost too powerful for where I live. I can only shoot in certain directions because I have relatively close neighbors. It’s accurate, powerful, adjustable, durable and reasonably priced as PCP rifles go. I also have a Taipan mutant .22 that I would like to upgrade to a Taipan Veteran .22 but I just can’t justify the cost since there is really nothing wrong with the mutant. I would but another Standard Veteran either .22 or .25 in a minute if I had it to do over again.

Ok thanks my mistake. :8:

I am just saying the Veteran is a go to gun. If you want a good gun , very accurate and at a great price, Tony at TAG is the man to talk to, Just read what everyone has to say about the gun,
And I understand about the money thing, I am retired and on a fixed income, No over time for me.

Excuse me, but I did not understand what you mean?

If you mean I ask and write in several places, that’s because I want to be completely sure of what I’m going to buy.

This rifle is three of my monthly salaries and probably more will go for optics, mounts, pump, pellets, case and more … so this purchase will be the last one for me.

That’s a lot of money for Bulgaria and here we can not buy a few rifles just like you …

Excuse me if I did not understand correctly what you mean.

Greetings.

I guess this is add or a big advertisement for the FX gun site, Comparing a Brocock to a Veteran, Just reading the reply’s if I did not already own a shorty 25 Veteran I would order one , The Veteran hands down winner,
NOW, I would like to see a complete and fair Impact V/S Veteran , Well never mind, The Impact is a complicated gun you have to tune and tinker with, The Veteran is built like a tank and super accurate out of the box, What caliper? Pick one.

Thanks man!
Honestly, I’ve long been to Taipan Veteran. But I’m exploring all the options considering the fact that for me this rifle will be the first (and most likely the last …) PCP and it is very expensive for me (for Bulgaria).

Besides, I had stopped on the Standard option but I would probably take Compact.

I know that this way I will lose more power due to Compact’s shorter barrel compared to Standard but ….

I seen this same question over on the AGN site, The Veteran is kicking ass over there,
I am sure it will be taken down soon, To many good things said about the Veteran, Now no one is slamming the Brocock , But the Veteran is the CLEAR winner.
