taking .25 cal condor to the range for long distance…
…shooting tomorrow morning and I was wondering if anyone has experience with pellet drop (average, of course) at 100 yards. Perhaps Tony, Jerry, or anyone can chime in.
I will be shooting the new JSB Kings, Kodiaks, and Jerry’s 7 and 9 rings for 100 yard groups. The rifle is a AAA condor from Tony so it will be pushing all of these pellets to the max.
I’m just trying not to waste time, ammo, or air figuring out the pellet drop. I was thinking between 5 and 10 inches. Let me know, please. Thanks.

That was from a Barnes rifle. I believe it was set at about 125 FPE for that shot.

Thanks Guys. I’ve been meaning to get down with Chaingun…just have not had the time yet. I wish I had some private 100 yard range and not a public one as the public one won’t allow me to put a 2×8 behind the target to test pellet penetration at that distance…, but I think I know which of these pellets would win out on that one 😈
Depends on the starting point. If you’re sighted at 50 then you should probably aim about 18″ high for the first shot at 100 and go from there. I usually just crank the scope knob one full turn and see where that gets me when going from 50 to 100…
I know one guy that has spent some time with chairgun and he has a tape on his Falcon that allows him to dial the scope from normal to 100+ yard shots and get one shot kills. I’d do that but I always change pellets, power settings and fills, I’d never get it right for long!
Did you try chairgun? It’s usually in the ballapark.
