I recieved my .22 cal 24″ barrel today, and wow 😯 Without my custom shroud, it is massively loud. With my shroud it is quitter than my SS was with a 12″ barrel. I was also getting rageged one hole groups at 25 yards. I did a quick 5 shot, shot string.

I am very impressed with this setup, after 30 shots pressure was at 2600 psi.

I have not figured out a way to make a good core, without spending 8 hours on machining it. It is pretty quiet as it is, I am going to Do it Center in a few hours to see if I can find some springs, washers and O-Rings big enough to fit inside.

Updated shroud. This model has a 2 3/8″ OD, and is 10 inches long. The end cap is secured with a set screw, and the adapter is press fit on. This shroud is fully operational, and does a great job of quieting down my talon 24.
It has not had the final filing and polishing, that pic is fresh off the lathe. The tubing above is my old 1″ aluminum tubing, to give something to compare the length and girth to.
With a little tweaking, I got my gun shooting Kodiaks above 930 fps for 60 shots. Tank is at 2100 psi at the end. I think that is a pretty darn good setup,
🙂 bikin,i like your setup and look forward to seeing the shorter fatter version.my gun has a blodnob valve with a 18″ barrel and is shooting jsb’s at 39.5fpe and they are averaging 2″ @100yrds.i was surpized to see such good accuracy at that speed.kodiacs are doing just as good at 46fpe.
