Talon air rifles Desing
Hello
I must to said that 8 years ago i bought my firs PCPC air rifle, in this time i choosed and Talon AF. Now Im very happy with my argun. But when i bought my air rifle, were only a few PCP options.
In 2005 the pcp market was very limited (if you look today there are many options (multishot air rifles, and more cheap, more expensive and accuracy air guns, etc).
Today im very dissapointed with air force,.. Many people say me Why
the reason is because today, Air Force dont want to put attention on some UNDESIRABLE features, like
The airguns dont have gauge, this is only very expensive upgrade.
The trigger is the same.. it sucks… i feel very hard…
The air rifles dont have consistency …..
I think that AF dont want the innovation, i see the same airguns from the past.. (the same UK design from ending 90s).. AF dont have enginers. that want to improve the performance on this airguns.
What do you think about that??

There is one air gun that have an easier cal swap than AF, Korean Hunting Master, google them… I have one set of .177 and .22 with barrel switch by hand, don’t even need a hex key for it like AF. I’m still figuring out how to put a .25 to it.
Yes, AFC is the one and only air gun that come naked, just like a Lego for big boys, you fix anything ….
😛 you can do unlimited mods, which s as much fun as shooting for someone like me.
The only gripe I have is not being able to have multishots, the rest of the existing problems, is not a problem if you read this forum enough 😎
To add to Synopsys list, it is LIGHT! The lightest one I’ve known.
Well yes and no.
How much is it to put a 17 cal barrel in a 22cal Daystate Ranger? How long does it take to swap back?
The AF rifles are a system. They can go from 12fpe 17cal to 150fpe 30 cal or more.
And it can do it for a WHOLE HELL OF A LOT LESS than any other rifle.
For example, it costs $470 for a MRod in 177, another $470 for a Mrod in 22 and another $470 for one in 25.
That’s $1400 for three calibers.
For an AF rifle it’s a little over half that to have three calibers…
And when was the last time you saw a MRod putting out close to 150fpe in 25 cal?
