Thanks if none of that works ill get a condor valve cause i have all the good things in it

That’s a good idea PB 💡

Any chance of blow out at the breech ❓
You can bet next time I’ll give it a try.

You guys need to remember that all you have to do in the middle of a tank dump is reach up and pull the breech forward to stop the dump.

If you get past the initial shock and gain your composure.

I’ve caused tank dumps several ways.

Once I had NOT threaded the tank into the collar properly. What with only 1 1/4 turns of thread for normal that was an easy mistake for me.

Another time, MOST IMPRESSIVE AT THE RANGE, I was trying some LOOSE AS A GOOSE daisy fn pellets using CO2. One flipped sideways in the breech. For several seconds I had like a rocket exhaust shooting for 3+ feet out of the barrel. I kept it pointed down range while I struggled to unscrew the tank and that shut it off saving maybe 1/3 a tank. When I opened the breech the cockeyed pellet fell out. Good thing it hadn’t flipped again and blasted out the barrel while Not aimed at my paper target.

A couple other dumps occured while experimenting with a light hammer and high PSI, above 2400 I think.

I read on AF’s website in the troubleshooting section:

5. When the gun fires and all the air exhausts from the tank.
A. The cause for this is almost always a pellet that was not seated deeply into the breech. The skirt is blown against the breech face when high pressure air first hits it and creates a high pressure air seal that forces the valve to remain open. To load a pellet, cock the rifle and leave the bolt forward, exposing the breech. Push a pellet all the way into the breech with your thumb or a pellet seating tool.
.

It may not have anything to do with your particular problem, it was just something I remembered reading so I went and copied it.

Think back, is that all you did, is unscrew the valve assembly from the tank and screw in the ETaC ?
Sounds like something is creating the tank dump, outside of what you did, as in Top Hat gapped larger, or valve spring drag, or something ?
