Talon SS Iguana Buster…..
Anybody ever shot Iguanas?
Would I be safe in comparing them to Grey Squirrels for eradicating?
This rifle is heading down to South Florida for the sole purpose of taking out an ever threatening Iguana problem.

I have it running at 820fps with Jsb’s.
Did’nt want to over scope the rifle, so we went with
CenterPoint Power Class 3-12x44mm compact rifle scope.
Very nice scope for the money..

The Wokbutt really compliments this piece…

Scope is zero’d in at 35 yards.
The laser at ten.
Hopefully this should be enough.

This rifle is being going to be used in a neighborhood canal area.
So we had to go with an internal baffle system plus frame extension.
She’s pretty quiet…

If anyone can add some info, please do.
Will JSB’s do the trick, Predators, or Kodiaks?
Thanks,
Tony

My back Canal is the Guanoid infesto zone or the GIZ. My talon .177 is back at Airforce getting fixed which sucks. Latley there has been only a few of them around due to cold fronts comming in and out in the Palm Beach area. The formula proven time and time again for iguanas are pcps (or springers) with 20 fpe which offers plenty of power close range for even the larger bulls. Figure mid sized ones with this power can be bagged at up to 45 yards easily. Ideally a Condor with full sized barrel with eun jins or predators at 40 plus fpe is a better choice for long range kills on the larger bull guanoids. The talon that A266 posted will be more than enough. One must walk slowly with dark colored clothing preferably, to not spook them into the water. Zombie and I have have noticed very light colored clothing tends to spook them.
